Luisa is a native of Brookline, MA, and a graduate of Northwestern University, where she studied acting and journalism. After pursuing acting part-time while working in journalistic and public relations capacities in politics and academia, she went full-time in February 2013. Within a year, she had signed with an agency, completed 54 projects in stage, TV, film, and modeling, and trained in stand-up comedy and four levels of improv.

In 2015, she made her big screen debut with a speaking role opposite Jennifer Lawrence in David O. Russell’s Academy Award-nominated “Joy,” her TV debut in two episodics on the Investigation Discovery Network, and her Off-Broadway debut in the U.S. premiere of “Dream Street,” which ran at the Pearl Theatre Company.

The year after her first role in, again, an Academy Award-nominated film, Luisa did what any reasonable person would do in a famously long-shot of a profession and began a family. In an instant, this career move provided her with limitless availability, beauty sleep, and total focus on self. Having now completely taken the entertainment industry by storm, Luisa has it all.

More to the point, when she’s not caring for her three children, Luisa does, in fact, continue to work in Philadelphia, Boston, and Manhattan, where she completed the 2-year Meisner training program at the William Esper Studio under the direction of Suzanne Esper, and where she received additional instruction in the final master class of the late William Esper.

Luisa is currently seeking new representation in the legit category.
